The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2002 Harley Davidson driven by 64 year old Ronnie W. Riecke of Clinton, Missouri struck a deer in the roadway.
Mr. Riecke sustained serious injures in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center for treatment.
The bike was totaled and removed from the scene by a private tow.
