Mary Sue Bright, age 82 of Independence, Missouri, formerly of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her home in Independence. She was born May 5, 1935 to Herbert William and Litha Oliver Dunlap in Dayton, Missouri.
Mary is survived by three sons, Michael Bright and wife Lisa of Kingsville, Missouri, Gregory Bright and wife Karen of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Terry Bright and wife Melissa of Sibley, Missouri; a daughter, Eugenia "Gina" Bright and husband Craig Wiser of Independence, Missouri; one brother, Bill Dunlap of Amoret, Missouri; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene F. Bright; two sisters, Florence Zeiler and infant sister Bettie Marie Dunlap; sister-in-law, Shirley Heckadon and husband Cecil; great-grandson, Charles Grant Heuer; and nieces Susan Lowe and Debbie Lawrence.
