Paul Everett Leuty, age 71 years, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at his home in Osceola, MO

Paul was born April 3, 1946, in Amoret, MO, to Frank and Mary (Hartsell) Leuty. He served in the US Army in 1965 and received a purple heart. After the army he made his living as a machinist for Newco Manufacturing in Martin City, MO. Paul married Wanda (Stewart) Sommers November 14, 1967. They raised their family in Garden City, MO, and later in 2001, they moved to Osceola for retirement.
Paul loved to fish and hunt. He loved old western movies, collecting arrowheads, and watching the races! If he answered when you called his house, he'd always say, "I'm watching the races!" when asked what he was doing. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and going places with his brother George.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Russell (Rusty) Sommers and Ricky Sommers; one brother, Lavon Leuty, and one sister, Sharon (Leuty) Burns, one great-great granddaughter Denah Ray Bishop.

Paul is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; two daughters Connie Sommers (Kevin Golden) Harrisonville, MO, and Paula Evans (Scot Allen) of the home; two sons, Rocky Sommers (Anita Hogan) of Clinton MO, and Michael (Lana) Leuty of the home; one sister, Frankie D. (Leuty) Harris of Garden City, MO, and two brothers, George Leuty of Osceola MO, and Tom Leuty of Piper, MO. Paul has 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren He was loved and will be missed by many.
