The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2013 Ford Fusion driven by 46 year old Elizabeth D. Aman of Harrisonville, Missouri was stopped and attempting to turn onto DD Highway when she was struck in the rear by the 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by 20 year old Cory A. Mays of Freeman, Missouri.
Both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow of Harrisonville,Missouri.
