Two injured in St. Clair County Crash

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Oct. 6 in St. Clair County on Highway 13 at Route T and Rt. V, five-tenths of a mile east of Vista.

Janelle R. Armstrong, 37, Osceola, not wearing a seat belt, eastbound in a 2006 Jeep Liberty, attempted to cross the northbound lanes of Highway 13 from Rt. V to Rt. T, and pulled into the path of a northbound 2013 Ford Focus operated by Emma K. Ezzell, 19, Oregon, Mo., wearing a seat belt.

Janelle R. Armstrong experienced serious injuries and was airlifted to Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

The vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by Golden Valley Towing.

Emma K. Ezzell experienced minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. Her vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by C & H Towing. 

Missouri Highway Patrol Sergeant G.W. Riggs investigated the accident.
