The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Jeep driven by 23 year old Alexander M. Jenkins of Butler, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and began to overturn. Mr. Jenkins was ejected from the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and transported to the Jackson County Medical Examiners office.
This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 63rd Fatality accident of 2017.
