Felony Warrant Arrest Made In Rich Hill

On 11/01/2017 at around 2:55pm the Rich Hill Police Department arrested Yale E. Gilkey of Rich Hill on 2 Felony warrants, 1-Bates County warrant for *Disc-Unlawful use of a weapon Bond amount $5000 cash only and 2-Vernon County warrant for Delivery or Possession of a control Substance at a County/Private Jail Except with a written Prescription No Bond. 

The arrest took place in the 600 Block of East Hickory when police say Mr. Gilkey was walking south when officers attempted to make contact with him he took off running south on 6th before turning east onto the 600 Block of Hickory towards tree line before running south into a yard.

Mr. Gilkey was arrested a short time later and transported to the Bates County Jail, where he was booked in on the 2 warrants. Gilkey also has pending drug charges from the arrest.
