Today, the FINAL INSPECTION of a completed RR crossing project in Homer Township (south of Amoret).
The project eliminated a dangerous, sight impaired, crossing and was begun by previous Commissioners approximately 5 years ago.
Coordination between KC Southern railroad, MODOT, Bates County, multiple landowners, and the construction company resulted in a successful, but slow-moving project.
A much safer crossing was the ultimate result!
