Obituary - Ada Villines

Ada Villines, 91 of Warsaw, Missouri passed away November 3, 2017 at Appleton City Manor in Appleton City, Missouri. Cremation, with private family services to be held at a later date. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com

Ada Villines was born March 17, 1926 in Ponca, Arkansas to Fred and Elsie Warren Villines. On September 1, 1943 she was united in marriage to Robert G. Villines. 

Ada worked for many years as a cashier at Just Right Thriftway in Kansas City. She loved to bowl at Strike & Spare bowling alley in Independence, Missouri, and to travel and fish with her husband. Ada also enjoyed family get togethers for Sunday dinners or on the holidays. She would always make sure her family was well fed.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a grandson Jeffery Hathorn. She is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Robert Villines of the home in Warsaw, by her daughter Eugena Turner and husband Richard of Independence, MO., a brother Argus Villines of Boise, ID., two granddaughters, Kenna C. Bartz and husband Len of Butler, MO., and Andrea J. Bieri and husband Bryan of Grain Valley, MO., and by four great-grandchildren.
