Beverly attended grade and high school in El Dorado Springs. She later attended Johnson County Community College attaining an Associate’s Degree in Business.
She met Robert Conway in 1960 and they were married in El Dorado Springs on March 17, 1961. Bev’s interests were snow skiing, golf, reading and traveling. She especially enjoyed traveling to many of the U.S. National Parks as well as Europe and Hawaii.
Beverly was employed by the Blue Valley School District for 23 years. Her last assignment was working for Dr. Steve McIllvan at the BV District Office. She enjoyed working with the education division personnel and continued to maintain a friendship with fellow employees after retirement.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Debbie. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” of the home, Olathe; daughter, Lisa Conway, Overland Park, KS; son, Robert Sherman Conway and wife, Annalisa, of Lake Sherwood, CA; grandchildren and children of Lisa, Eleanor Layne , Overland Park, KS and Adam Layne, Mechanicsville, VA; grandsons and sons of Robert, Nico Conway and Matteo Conway also of Lake Sherwood CA; sisters, Barbara Henry and husband Dean Henry, Nevada, Carol Ruthman and husband Steve, Butler, and Denna Selby and husband Keith of Nevada; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Ferry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hubert Fox officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Friday.
