The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1999 GMC driven by 57 year old Gary L. Boice of Raytown, Missouri struck a animal in the roadway.
Mr. Boice sustained minor injuries in this accident and he refused medical treatment at the scene of the accident.
The vehicle was driven from the scene with moderate damages.
