Rich Hill Fire Department teaming up with the American Red Cross to save lives

Anyone that would like to volunteer with the American Red Cross for this event can do so. 


The Rich Hill Fire Department has reached out to the American Red Cross in hopes of partnering together to save lives. On Saturday November 18th, we will be conducting a Sound the Alarm. 

Safe a life (Home Fire Campaign) event in the town of Rich Hill, MO to install smoke alarms and educate residents on vital home fire safety information. Event Details:
Saturday, November 18th


Staging Time will be at 9:00 AM and we will hit the streets at 10:00 AM

We are looking at about 550 homes, so we hope to be done by 4:00 PM.

For those that would like to meet at the Chapter beforehand and ride together, we can also do this. Just let me know so I can anticipate the number of vehicles. Plan to meet at the Chapter office by 8:00 AM.

Volunteer Needs:
Education/Installation: We need volunteers to walk the route with the Fire Department, educate the residents on home fire safety information and assess smoke alarm installation needs.Route Support: We will need volunteers driving the route in a Red Cross branded vehicle. This team will replenish field supplies, provide hydration to those in the field, and take pictures along the way of our event.
