Search Warrant Served in Eldorado Springs Missouri

On November 2, 2017, officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department served a search warrant at 502 South Forrest Street after receiving information of criminal activity. 

Officers located a firearm, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and illegal drugs. An estimated weight of 17 grams of Methamphetamine was seized by officers.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of Steven A Horning, 34, and Amy J. Miller, 42, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause for Unlawful for Certain Persons to Possess a Firearm D Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance Class D Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Class A Misdemeanor. Officers completed probable cause statements for these charges. 

Officers received Cedar County Warrants charging Horning and Miller with Possession of a Controlled Substance Class D Felony with a bond of $10,000.00. They were transferred to the Cedar County Jail.

Also arrested was Wendi A Kite, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Class D Felony, Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance, Class E Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Class D Misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class D Misdemeanor. The Cedar County Prosecuting Attorney declined to file and deferred the charges to Municipal Ordinance. Kite was released on summonses pending a Municipal Court Appearance.
