On Monday, November 13, 2017 Deputies responded to rural Amsterdam in regards to a deer hunter who had been shot.
When deputies arrived on scene, The Missouri State Highway Patrol was giving the hunter emergency care.
The hunter who was identified as Chris Bridges of Adrian, Missouri had dropped his rifle and it shot him in the shoulder area. He was transported by air ambulance to a trauma center in Kansas City.
The investigation is being handled by the Bates County Sheriff’s Office.
