Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (660-679-0009). There will be no visitation.
Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery, Drexel, Missouri. Contributions are suggested to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.
Larry Franklin Vest was born September 27, 1938 in Belton, Missouri to John W. and Hazel Peabyhouse Vest.
Larry worked most of his life farming and raising cattle. He retired in the early 90’s and moved to Harrisonville. During retirement he would mow lawns and spend his free time at the Wagon Wheel restaurant, where he met his wife Arnetta.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Arnetta Vest. He is survived by a stepson Todd Whited of Alaska and by nieces and nephews.
