As a teenager, she moved to Clinton with her parents where she attended high school. In 1964 she married Johnny Everhart and had 1 son, Mike Everhart. In 1965, she became a sister and friend to Jenni Coe. Later, in 1973, she married Gary Evans and had 1 daughter, Renee (Evans) Frost.
Vivian loved her kids and family very much and they loved her more than anything. She worked hard to cook, clean, and take care of all their needs. She often had an outside job as a waitress, and worked many years as a cashier at Conoco in Lowry City and Clinton. She was always supportive of her kids, not only as their Mother, but also as their friend. She made holidays and birthdays extra special including wonderful meals, decorations, Santa Claus fun, Easter egg hunts, birthday cakes and parties. Weekly Sunday dinners were at Big Mamas house for many years.
Vivian loved going to garage sales, shopping, listening to Elvis, caring for all of her cats and animals like children, and mostly spending time with her family. In 2005, she became "Grandma" to Brett Leigh Frost, which brought her great joy. She enjoyed living close and watching her granddaughter play and grow. In 2015, she got a grandson, Toby Michael Everhart. She loved seeing him and hearing Toby stories from Mike. She was so happy that Brett and Toby became such good buddies.
Although we will miss her terribly, we have many, many great memories!! We are thankful she is no longer in pain, no more cancer, no more worries. Mostly we are thankful that if she can no longer be here with us, that she can be in Heaven with Jesus and those that went before her.
Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary Evans, and her son Mike Everhart.
She is survived by daughter Renee Frost, husband Brian, granddaughter Brett, (Deepwater); Daughter-in-law Melissa Everhart, grandson Toby (Clinton); Sister Jenni Coe (Bolivar); Sister-in-law Linda Dearston (Deepwater), her beloved cats and many neighbors and friends.
