Total bond is set at $10,000 cash only on two Henry County warrants and $30,000 cash or surety on the other warrants.
The arrest comes after an attempted traffic stop by a St. Clair County deputy on Dec. 22. Mullen fled from the deputy in his vehicle, traveling at a high rate of speed during adverse road conditions. Mullen’s car left the surfaced road and ended up in the roadside ditch.
Mullen and the female passenger fled from the vehicle and into the surrounding woods. The suspects were unable to be located after a scrupulous search of the area.
During the evening of Dec. 23, a tip came into the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office that the male suspect that deputies were looking for, may be in the restroom of the Port C Store gas station. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact Andrew Mullen and took him into custody.
