Verna Marie Corbin, age 91 of Amoret, Missouri died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Medicalodge Nursing Center in Butler. She was born April 25, 1926 to John Levy and Bertha Elizabeth Kershner Stephens in Amsterdam, Missouri.
Verna is survived by her daughter, Donna White and husband Ed of Amoret, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Loretta Paris and husband Al of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Pauline Gehrett of Lubbock, Texas; son-in-law, Kevin Miller and family of Amoret, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sandy Hines and husband Kevin, Trisha Good and husband George and Michael White and wife Malissa; six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Zackary, Dylan, McKayla, Nathan and Devin; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William Harold in July of 1987; one daughter, Daniece Miller in 2012; and a stepson, Bill Corbin.
