Authorities seized almost a half-pound of methamphetamine, cash and a handgun last Wednesday when they executed a search warrant on a Neosho residence and arrested four people.
Members of the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team and sheriff's investigators served the warrant at 618 Joplin St. in Neosho, seizing 216 grams of meth, $4,357 in cash and a loaded semi-automatic pistol, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Department.
Two occupants of the home, Cherie Copeland, 43, and Danny Devore, 45, were taken into custody and charged with first-degree trafficking in drugs.

A second count of unlawful use of a weapon was filed on Copeland, and a second count of unlawful possession of a firearm was filed on Devore.
Two Nevada residents, John Peery, 36, and Amanda Peery, 39, who arrived at the residence while the search warrant was being served, were taken into custody and charged with first-degree trafficking in drugs.
All four suspects were being held on $50,000 bonds.
