High Fire Danger Today

Strong southeast winds this morning will shift to the west late this morning/early afternoon as a cold front moves through. Expect winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. The strong winds and low relative humidity will lead to high fire danger today.

Any fire that does get started will quickly burn out of control and as such, outdoor burning is discouraged today. Those strong winds will continue into the day on Tuesday and as such, fire danger will be high again tomorrow. Otherwise expect highs in the 50s today.
