Burglary in Appleton City

On April 11, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on East Fifth Street in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Gerald Fennewald.

Mr. Fennewald stated that sometime Tuesday or Wednesday, someone broke into his garage through a window. He stated whoever it was, was gathering things into boxes for possible removal.

Evidence was collected from the scene.
