Danny was self employed in the construction industry. Work was his favorite "hobby". However, he did enjoy going to the casino and taking long over the road vacations.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Danny is survived by his wife, Terri, a son Jimmy Thies and wife Jill, two brothers, Bill and Steve Thies, a sister, Carol Dover and two grandchildren Madison and Zach.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6:45 pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 6:45. Burial will be held privately in the Queen of the Holy Rosary Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association.
