In 1944, Ron moved along with his family to the homestead where he lived his entire life. He attended Walker High School and graduated Class of 1955. At age 12 he began working on the farm which he continued to operate until his passing.
In addition to his wife Barbara he is survived by his brother-in-law, John Hallam and his wife Patty; two nephews, David Hallam and his wife Cori, and Kevin Hallam and his wife Jennifer; special cousins, G.W. Steincross and his wife Mary and their daughters, Regan and Kameron; numerous cousins, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Virginia May Keogh.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with James Ensor officiating. Interment will follow in Lefler Cemetery in Harwood, MO. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
