IT Specialist – The City of Harrisonville, MO is accepting resumes for this regular full time technical position. The individual will be responsible for assisting the IT Director with maintenance of computer, network, and other technology systems as well as supporting end user hardware and software needs. 

Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively utilize time to maximize impact of efforts on overall IT infrastructure.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Knowledge of Windows environment and software, TCP/IP connectivity, and an understanding of client server applications.

Requires a high level of skill with computer systems and their use as well as a willingness to learn new applications and services rapidly.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum 2 year of educational experience focusing on hardware and software support in a multi-user network environment and 2 years work experience in an IT support role.
