Deputy injured in rollover accident in Barton County

On 7/24/2018 a Deputy was responding to assist another Deputy in Burgess in reference to a call involving a Landlord/Tenant dispute where a subject became agitated and the deputy in Burgess asked for another unit to respond. 

While en route to the call he was asked to expedite or to hurry due to the subjects demeanor at the home in Burgess. 

The responding Deputy while en route lost control of his vehicle and was involved in a one vehicle motor vehicle accident. 

The Deputy was traveling west on NW 30th rd west of NW 80th Ln when he lost control of the patrol vehicle, struck a utility pole, and then over turned. 

The deputy was transported to Cox Barton County Memorial Hospital by the Barton County Ambulance and was treated for minor injuries and he was later released.

Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to investigate the accident.
