Independence man drowns in St. Clair County

On 7/7/18 around 12:45pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County, Missouri responded to a drowning around 2.5 miles downstream of the Missouri 13 Highway Bridge around 6 miles east of Osceola.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the drowning victim as 62 year old Edgar L. Tyler IV of Independence, Missouri was pronounced dead by St. Clair County Coroner Randy Shelton.

This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 4th drowning of 2018.
