On Aug. 21, Heather Willmore, 32, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only.
The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies were advised of a careless and imprudent driver on Highway 13 on July 18, 2018.
A search of the surrounding area revealed a car matching the description and license plates located at The Port Convenience Store. Deputies made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle, along with Willmore’s two children.
The Department of Family Services was notified and the children were released to their father. A K9 unit did an exterior sniff test of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie with a white crystal like substance and a glass pipe. The white crystal substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. Willmore admitted the drugs and glass pipe to be hers.
