Fire Department Building in Wheatland Missouri catches fire

We have suffered a complete loss at our station 1 located in Wheatland Mo due to a lighting strike then followed by a fire at approximately 621 hrs.

We were able to save all of our apparatus after our firefighters made a aggressive interior attack.

The station unfortunately is a complete loss. We will do our best to keep everyone advised of what our next step is. As for right now Hickory county road crew building will be our temporary station and the fire department is still able to respond to all calls.

Thank you everyone that helped us out and is still helping us out!

Thanks again,
Chief Graham
