Tuesday we had the official opening of your newly renovated water treatment plant. Now obviously it has always been functioning all this time, but it is now fully operational with all the new updates. 

One of the biggest improvements is the addition of Ozone treatment that should help with odor and taste. This has been a long time coming for the citizens of Harrisonville who overwhelmingly approved the financing of this project. 

We were fortunate to have secured our low interest loan from DNR with a minimal increase to your water rates. I want to thank the citizens of Harrisonville, DNR, Burns & McDonald, city staff and the BoA for making this happen. Remember, the best days of Harrisonville are ahead.
