Obituary - Haley Henderson


Haley Henderson, age 35, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away on August 24, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Springfield. Haley was born to Terry and Carol Hahn on August 13, 1991 in Springfield, Missouri. She was raised in Reeds Spring, Missouri and graduated from Reeds Spring Highschool in 2010. Haley was united in marriage to Colten Henderson on December 17, 2011, in Branson, Missouri. Haley and Colten shared 14 years of marriage before Haley’s untimely passing on August 23, 2026. The couple were blessed with two children, Avereigh and Waylen Henderson.

Haley was employed as a Commercial Account Manager with Higginbotham Insurance for nearly a year since moving back to the area. First and foremost, Haley was a Mother over any career. Haley poured her love into various elementary schools starting in Fort Riley, Kansas, Spokane, Missouri, and Butler, Missouri as a paraprofessional. When not working, she had many interests and pastimes including spending time with family, traveling, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. Nothing, however, brought her more fulfillment than her children and family. Haley will be remembered as an unconditionally loving mother, wife, daughter, friend, and selfless serving pillar of many communities. She was often described by others as a bright light, with a magnetic personality that made it impossible not to love her. Haley’s laughter was contagious and she always provided a warm presence. Haley was typically found at the nearest ball field, wrestling mat, volleyball or basketball court, cheering on her children as well as everyone else’s. Haley would radiate positivity and had a way to make everyone she came into contact with feel important.

Haley was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents Bob and Barbara Gass, Great Grandparents Gilbert and Millie Steele, Grandfather Joseph Hahn, and Uncle Greg Hahn. She is survived by her spouse Colten Henderson, children Avereigh and Waylen Henderson; father Terry Hahn, Mother Carol Hahn, Grandparents George and Judy Steele, Grandmother Joyce Hahn, as well as numerous family members and friends .

A visitation for Haley will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM, at Victor Baptist Church in Branson, Missouri. A Funeral Service for Haley will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Victor Baptist Church with a burial to follow at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery located in Branson, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Haley’s memory to “Memorial Fund for Haley Henderson”, located at Central Bank of Branson. The proceeds will be distributed to her children’s college funds.
