Raymond was born on November 7, 1921 to Harve and Ila (Butler) Lucas in Clinton, Missouri. Raymond loved his family and was a family man. He enjoyed fishing and was a big baseball fan. Raymond loved the KC Royals. He worked most of his life at Greason Body Shop and worked at the Englewood Cemetery for the last 10 years before his retirement in 1983.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nellie, eldest son, Billy Dale Lucas, son-in-law, Ross Divine an all of his siblings.
Raymond is survived by his sons, Stan (Gwen) Lucas, Warrensburg, Mo, and Rick Lucas, Holden, Mo, daughters, LeNell (Herb) Smith, Deepwater, Mo, and Peggy Divine, Clinton, grandchildren, Brandon Crain, Tandy Barber, Karli Taylor, Doug Love, Jake Love, Kayla Ewing, and Harley Lucas, 4 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
