Four juveniles injured in golf cart rollover accident in St. Clair County

On 9/1/18 around 6:15pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in  St. Clair County responded to a one vehicle golf cart accident at Twin Oaks Harbor Property around 7 miles east of Lowry City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2018 Easy-Go Express S4 Golf Cart driven by 13 year old Emma K. Heyd of Merriam, Kansas attempted to avoid a cat, driver lost control and overturned.

Four juveniles in this accident all sustained moderate injuries. 

11 year old Rayanna Gammon of Lowry City, Missouri was transported by private vehicle to Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri for treatment.

15 year old Maddline M. Wheeler of Montrose, Missouri was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.

13 year old Emma K. Heyd and 16 year old Jessie R. Wittmeyer both were transported by Life Flight Eagle to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

The golf cart was totaled and released to a friend of the owner at the scene.
