On 10/9/18 around 2:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a two vehicle accident on CR 2400 around 3 miles NW of Walker at Halley Road.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1990 GMC Topkick driven by 46 year old Louis J. Trytsman of Walker, Missouri and the 2010 Isuzu NQR driven by 32 year old Cory C. Shultz of Jopilin, Missouri met at a uncontrolled intersection and collided.
Cory C. Shultz sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
Louis J. Trytsman sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Both trucks were totaled and towed from the scene by Garwood's Wrecker Service of Nevada, Missouri.
