Deanna Flater Retires from BCMH after 40 years of service

Bates County Memorial Hospital had the privilege of recognizing Deanna Flater at a retirement party held in her honor. Deanna retired on October 30, 2018 from her full time employment as a Registered Nurse.

Deanna began her career at the hospital in 1978 as a Nursing Assistant in the Nursing Department. Deanna obtained her LPN license in 1979 where she worked in that capacity until 1984.

Deanna obtained her RN license in 1984 and has worked as a Staff RN in the Nursing Department, later transferring to a RN Supervisor position in 2004. She has been a strong advocate for our patients and a loyal employee to the hospital.

Deanna’s leadership and knowledge will leave a void in the organization. Deanna received a beautiful wall clock, presented by Dr. John Bustle, Hospital Chief Executive Officer. Deanna and her husband, Nick, reside in Rich Hill.
