The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2018 Chevrolet driven by 20 year old Ashley Dicapo of Kansas City, Missouri ran off the roadway, over corrected and ran off the other side of the roadway striking a embankment.
A passenger in the vehicle 25 year old Kelsey R. Thomas of Hume, Missouri sustained moderate injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler for treatment.
The vehicle received moderate damages and was secured roadside.
