Obituary - James A. Richardson

James A. Richardson, 80 passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at St. Luke's on the Plaza. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com. Funeral service will be on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri at 2pm with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Urich, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the James Richardson Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

James was born in Fristoe, Missouri on June 12, 1938 to William and Katherine Richardson. He was delivered by his grandma Sara Scarbrough. James worked various jobs such as sawmills, farm hand, insulation, cabinet installer, Fajen gunstock, cutting wood and other odd jobs. He was an animal lover, hunter, fisherman and loved old cars and trucks.

James was preceded in death by his parents, William and Katherine, aunt Ethel Derr, sister Hazel (Dennis) Long, uncle James Scarbrough and aunt Goldie.

James is survived by his wife, Rosie and daughter Patricia both of the home, daughter Alice (Randy), sons Rick Aldridge and Jimmy Vickers, two nephews Johnny and Scotty Long and may friends, family and relatives.
