James was born in Fristoe, Missouri on June 12, 1938 to William and Katherine Richardson. He was delivered by his grandma Sara Scarbrough. James worked various jobs such as sawmills, farm hand, insulation, cabinet installer, Fajen gunstock, cutting wood and other odd jobs. He was an animal lover, hunter, fisherman and loved old cars and trucks.
James was preceded in death by his parents, William and Katherine, aunt Ethel Derr, sister Hazel (Dennis) Long, uncle James Scarbrough and aunt Goldie.
James is survived by his wife, Rosie and daughter Patricia both of the home, daughter Alice (Randy), sons Rick Aldridge and Jimmy Vickers, two nephews Johnny and Scotty Long and may friends, family and relatives.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
