Leona had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Archie, MO. Over the years she had become involved with playing the Q chord and singing at many different church functions. Everywhere she went she would tell people of Jesus and how He loved them.
Leona was preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Paul Hill, daughter Polly Joy Hill and son Paul Wayne Hill. She was also preceded by her 5 brothers: Raymond Arnold, Charles Arnold, Clarence Arnold, Jimmy Arnold and Kenneth Arnold, 2 sisters: Lily Mitchell and Irene Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Campbell (Charles) of Clinton, MO; her son Calvin Lee Hill of Osceola, MO; one granddaughter Loretta Velazquez (Anthony), Clinton, four grandsons, Chuck Campbell (Patti), Clinton, Wesley Campbell (Tonya), Clinton, Mark Hill (Angie), Illinois and Bryan Hill, Minnesota; 11 great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Velazquez, Courtney Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Ryan Meeker, Jill Meeker, Caleb Meeker, Janna Meeker, Jaylene Meeker, Calvin Campbell, Melanie Hill and Jacob Hill. She is also survived by her sister, Florence Cunningham of Butler, MO and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Arnold and Audrey Arnold both of Adrian, MO and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 1st, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at the Bradley and Hadley Funeral Home in Clinton. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery.
