The Deputy made contact with Schmidt and advised him of the warrant. Schmidt advised that he had marijuana and a pipe in his pocket.
The Deputy also located a syringe, paraphernalia and a baggie that contained a white crystal substance. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Schmidt was transported to the Bates County Jail for his outstanding warrant. More charges are expected to be filed against Schmidt for possession.
