The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Chevrolet driven by 54 year old Dorothy N. Madrigal of Lamar, Missouri pulled into the path and struck the 2000 Dodge truck driven by 20 year old Cheston D. Stacy of Humansville, Missouri.
A passenger in Mr. Stacy's vehicle 22 year old Likayla C. Stacy of Humansville sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Abernathy Tow and Parks Tow both of Lamar.
