Betty was raised in Coffeyville and she attended school there. Betty was a member of the First Christian Church in Coffeyville. She has lived in Nevada most of her adult life.
Survivors include one sister, Doris D. (Reed) Gowen; three nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
