Obituary - Paul Clyde Stewart

Paul Clyde Stewart, 70, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Medicalodges in Nevada. Paul was born August 27, 1948 in Portland, OR to Claude Eldred and Edna Marthabelle (White) Stewart. He was united in marriage to Barbara Lea Sutcliffe and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2018.

Paul moved from Oregon to Missouri in 1956, at the age of eight, with his family. He attended school in Rich Hill.

Paul served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War for two years. Following his service years he worked as a dry waller in Nevada for his brother Ray for nearly 30 years.

Survivors include his daughter, Stacie Ann Stewart Holcomb (Shannon), Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, James Stewart, Olathe, KS, Raymond Stewart, Harrisonville, MO; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Barbara he was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Stewart, and one sister, Mary Stone.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Robert Fox officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
