A Community’s Farewell and Best Wishes

For the Butler Church of The Nazarene and the Butler community the past twelve years have been completely blessed by the Prichard Family.

Pastor John Prichard has led this flock of sheep through many storms, blessed events and fellowship. He has seen and discipled many, and has taught the church and community how to become disciples themselves.

John's message remaining consistent, one thing above the rest we are the people of God, his children, his chosen. Miss Brenda Prichard has taught many of our children at Butler Elementary. Mrs. Prichard also taught many children in bible school how to listen to the word of God.

How to be what God desires them to be. She has blessed many of our lives, with her kind works, words and overwhelmingly loving heart. Together through the years our community has grown in many ways, the Prichards seeing our family and children growing, and we as a church and community being a part of their family’s growth. Now the Prichards have been called to a new discipleship at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Colorado Springs.

Unlike most when receiving the call on our hearts by God to change or move in new directions, Pasture John in his final act of discipleship for the Church of the Nazarene is once again showing his flock the true meaning of obedience to our Lord with his last sermon on March 31st. As a church family and community we will come together and say our goodbyes and give best wishes to the Prichard Family.

If the Prichards have had a place in your lives or hearts you are cordially invited to attend their farewell party. March 31st from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene located 110 West Nursery Street.
