From the city of La Cygne Kansas

I apologize for the inappropriate words in these photos, but I felt it was important for everyone to see what happened to the Skate park in the La Cygne Community Park. I am sure there are some who will be proud to see this damage and they will find joy in seeing it broadcast on Facebook. Then there are those like myself who are angered and saddened to see that someone destroyed something that so many people worked so hard to get for our community. Many VOLUNTEERS worked hard to support the kids who wanted to have a Skate park and those same volunteers worked hard to raise the $75,000 to build it. Yet it appears that to a few individuals it doesn't matter that those people gave their time and energy to support the youth in our community.

I challenge the citizens of La Cygne to come together, to stand up for your community and to stop things like this from happening. The PRIDE of La Cygne is fading and that only leads to more problems, damage and heartache.
