The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze driven by 55 year old Joyce J. Hibbs of Nevada, Missouri was southbound on Missouri 7 Highway when she ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a concrete bridge.
A passenger in the vehicle 16 year old Alyssa M. Montaleone of Nevada, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle received moderate damages and was towed from the scene by Golden Valley Wrecker Service of Clinton.
