Dennis Roberts, 63 of Drexel, Missouri passed away March 11, 2019 at his home in Drexel. Cremation, with memorial services 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Grace Church, 911 N. Noland Road Suite E, Independence, Missouri.

Dennis Dale Roberts was born February 11, 1956 in Independence, Missouri to Thomas and Mary Chafin Roberts. He attended Courtney Elementary School and Fort Osage High School.
Throughout his life Dennis held many jobs, most of which involved driving. He drove dump trucks for construction work, delivered flowers for funerals, worked for AM Crane & Tractor, and even worked as a stagehand. When he wasn’t working, Dennis enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found fishing or working on his archery.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of four years, Mary Koontz, and by a nephew Tom Roberts, III.
He is survived by his daughter Melanie Kitchen and her husband Charlie, grandchildren, Shelby Doerfler and husband Brady, Elissa Kitchen, and Colten Kitchen, and two great-grandsons, Bentley and Gavin Doerfler. Dennis is also survived by his sisters, Shirley Davis and husband Ron, and Veronica Joyce Wykoff and husband Rick, brother Tom Roberts and wife Dorothy, Step-son Terry Koontz, nieces, nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.
