Mary was a lifelong resident and attended Nevada Schools. At the age of 16 she went to work at Key Work Clothes in Nevada, and for a time she also worked at Nevada City Hospital, and Mill Tech. Mary retired from Key Work Clothes in 1997. She was a seamstress all of her life. Mary was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nevada.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Roberts, Lockwood, MO; one son, Bruce Burnham, Lockwood, MO; seven grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Wilson, Nevada; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Helen Rothenberger, and Elain Birks.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nevada. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Ferry Funeral Home.
