The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2014 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by 24 year old William G. Ward of Archie, Missouri was traveling eastbound on Route A when he approached another vehicle who was stopped and a stop sign.
The vehicle began to pull out in front of him causing Mr. Ward to take an evasive action which made him lose control of his bike causing it to overturn onto its side, Mr. Ward was able to jump off the motorcycle before it struck the ground.
William G. Ward sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by private vehicle to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri.
The Harley Davidson was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by a private tow.
