The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when Clary B. Hurst of Raymore, Missouri was sitting in his 2015 Chevrolet in his driveway when the vehicle went into reverse and hit a tree before sliding into the ditch.
Mr. Hurst sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by South Metro Fire to Belton Regional Medical for treatment.
The vehicle received extensive damages and it was towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.
