There will be a grave side for Mrs. Freemyer-Long at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in the Appleton City Cemetery, Appleton City, Missouri.
Officiating at the service will be Pastor Larry Sorrels.
Visitation precede the service from 11:00 - 11:45 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Appleton City Cemetery, Appleton City, Missouri.
The family requests any memorial donations be given to the Appleton City Cemetery.
Janice Lee Craigo Long, age 79, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019. She was born November 2, 1939 in Columbia, Missouri to Robert and Elsie Craigo.
After graduating from Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri she married Harry “Rocky” Freemyer and they moved to Kansas City where she raised their family. Janice later moved to Appleton City, Missouri and opened the Embers Restaurant. She was a kind, loving person that never met a stranger. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a nurturing mother, generous caring person, great cook and an avid MU Tiger fan. She especially loved being around her family and sharing a lot of laughs.
Survivors include one son, Mark Freemyer and wife Trisha; one daughter, Paige Freemyer Robbins and husband Greg; four grandchildren, Vince Freemyer and wife Jody, Max Freemyer, McKenzie Robbins and fiance’ Matt Fagan, and Matthew Robbins; three great-grandchildren, Alexa, McKenna and Brody Freemyer; one brother, Mike Craigo and wife Lana; three nieces and her beloved Yorkie, Ellie.
