The Drexel R-IV Board of Education is pleased to announce that Gary French has been named as the new Drexel K-12 principal for the 2019-2020 school year. Mr. French has thirty-seven years of experience in education, most recently serving the last thirteen years as the superintendent of the Osawatomie, KS School District.
“The district is very excited to have Mr. French as our K-12 Principal for the 2019-2020 school year and beyond,” said superintendent, Terry Mayfield. “His administrative experience, work ethic and commitment to kids made him a great fit for the district. I am confident he will work with our elementary and secondary staff to provide the best possible education for our students.”
The district is now prepared to begin the process to hire a new K-12 Assistant Principal/Instructional Coach to complete the administrative team for the 2019-2020 school year.
